So, after having my father using my old pair of headphones to run with, the months and months of gallons and gallons of sweat finally got to them, and the right ear subsequently stopped working. After lamenting my loss, I decided to head to Circuit City and scout out a new pair. Now, I usually do not buy headphones over $15, but I saw the Sony Street Style Headphones and was intrigued. I plopped down a nice deuce for them and headed home to give them a test. After having them for a month, I can say that they are one of the best sets I have ever had.
The Sony Street Style Headphones are a behind-the-neck design, so they fit snuggly around the very top of your neck, behind your head. This means they wont mess up your hair, you will not look silly with a big band on top of your head, and you do not have to keep readjusting them. There is a little rubber piece that goes around your ear on each side. This creates a nice snug fit, but can sometimes make them uncomfortable. If you wear them for hours at a time, the Sony Street Style Headphones can eventually make your ears hurt. A small sacrifice for such a nice fit.
Running or doing exercise of any type is no problem with the Sony Street Style Headphones. They fit so tightly that they barely move when you do anything. I was really surprised about that. They even stayed on when I lied down with my head hanging above the floor. Another bonus is that the chord does not get in the way because it is only attached to one side of the headphones. The design is really good for the price, and anyone would enjoy it, click here for more info.
Another surprise was the sound. I can say that the sound on the Sony Street Style Headphones is almost perfect, and the bass is booming. I know not everyone likes a strong bass, but the good thing is that it is not too strong. The Sony Street Style Headphones seem to strike a nice balance between clarity and bass. Its not too intrusive, just right. Everyone type of music sounds good, and no one will be disappointed using these headphones.
Overall I can say that the Sony Street Style Headphones are near flawless. They have a really nice design and are perfect for workouts. They sound nice and have a good, deep bass. The only downfall is that there is no volume control. While that would be nice, the Sony Street Style Headphones are still good for anybody to use. They are my favorite set of headphones so far, and I give them a big recommendation for anybody looking for a new pair.
