Oil pulling. When you first see that word, what is running through your mind? And how could oil pulling do anything to improve your health? Read on for the answers.

Although oil pulling has its origins in Ayurvedic medicine, it is making a comeback in our generation. It is a safe, cheap and gentle home remedy to help cure and prevent disease. It only takes 10 to 20 minutes a day and the oil is as close as your kitchen.

Ukrainian physician, Dr. F. Karach, is an oncologist who specializes in tumor diseases. In his own life, he was suffering from a chronic blood disease and had arthrosis for 15 years. By pulling oil, he cured his health problems in three days. He reports that the first sign of his health improving was in his teeth. They became firm and white. His sleep became deeper and his memory improved. In the mornings, he woke up feeling fresh and relaxed and the dark patches below his eyes disappeared. He had energy and his appetite increased. He presented his finding at a conference of Ukrainian cancer specialists and challenged them to try oil pulling.

How to Oil Pull

The first thing to do when you wake up, before you eat, drink or brush your teeth is to put one tablespoon of oil into your mouth. If you have a smaller mouth, you can use less oil. You can use any kind of oil that you would use for cooking like sesame, sunflower, coconut, grapeseed, olive oil. Do not use unrefined oils or any oils that are not natural.

With the oil in your mouth, slowly swish the oil around, mixing the oil with your saliva. As you continue to swish it around, the action activates the enzymes and it is the enzymes that draw the toxins out of the blood. Do not swallow the oil, but continue to swish the oil around pulling it through your mouth so it goes in between your teeth. Exercise your jaw with the oil as if you’re chewing food. Keep your chin tilted up so the oil comes in contact with your back molars, here are the findings.

As the time passes, the oil changes from pale yellow into a white liquid. If the oil is not white, then Dr. Karach explains that you have not pulled enough oil yet. At the end of 10 to 20 minutes spit the oil out into the sink. Rinse and wash your mouth out with tap water. The oil is full of toxins, so you want to remove all the toxins that the oil pulled from your mouth. If you want to use toothpaste, use one that has no fluoride in it.

Drink 2 to 3 glasses of water after you are finished.

How Often to Oil Pull

You can do this once a day in the morning, or several times during the day for faster results. For the oil to work properly, you need to wait at least four hours after you have eaten or one hour after drinking anything. If your symptoms become worse, and according to the letters I have read concerning this practice, many people have experienced a worsening of problems, continue to do the oil pulling. When your symptoms worsen, it is an indication that your disease or ailment is being cured. The aggravated symptoms my take a day or two, but according to Dr. Karach, this means that your body is healing.

By massaging the tongue with oil, it stimulates where the taste meets the organ.

Oil contains 960 micrograms of vitamin A per 10 gm. As the oil is in your mouth, your body willa bsorb the vitamin A. vitamin A is necessary to keep your skin, eyes and other parts of your body hydrated.

Concerns

If you feel the need to swallow while pulling oil, take a deep breath through your nose. If you really need to swallow, tilt your head forward so the oil is in the front of your mouth and then swallow from the back of your throat. Try not to swallow any of the oil, but if you do, don’t worry because it will simply pass through the normal digestive process and out of your body. For added health benefits, rinse your mouth with a mixture of sea salt and water.

If you experience any allergic reactions, stop using that brand of oil and try a different one, or try a different oil altogether.
