Discipline: |
Each student receives $5.00 a day in classroom money. When a student does
something they are not supposed to (forgets an assignment or a belt) they have
to pay from their classroom money. We will have a classroom auction at the end
of the nine weeks to spend our leftover classroom money. |
|
|
Homework: |
Students are
required to read, study spelling and practice math daily, as well as finish any
assignments that were not completed at school.

|
Course Study: |
Reading, Religion,
Math, Social Studies, Science, Spelling, Phonics, Writing, Grammar, Penmanship
In the 4th grade we build on many of the concepts that were taught in the 3rd
grade. We take the state assessments in Math, Reading and Science. The students
are encouraged to think and work independently. When we do not understand, the
first step is to read again, second is to look it up if we can, third is ask
another student and lastly ask the teacher.

|
Religion & Mass: |
We go to mass
Tuesdays through Fridays. The 4th graders are lectors
for Mass on Thursdays. |
